Fun Stops Along The Way

Nothing is more rewarding after a long hike to refuel with a treat.  A few of my favorite stops  are mentioned below. 

East Wind Drive-in, Cascade Locks.

Nothing hits the spot like these GIANT cones from the East Wind Drive-in after a long hike in the gorge. Just keep in mind-- a small is large here and a large is enormous!

Sugar Time Bakery, Enterprise.

Where its always time for sugar time!  Don't miss this gem of a bakery in the tight-knit community of Enterprise, located in the heart of Wallowa County.  You'll  have to share space with the locals and regulars as they file in as soon as the doors open.   Enjoy coffee and delicious baked goods or grab a breakfast burrito or quiche to-go.

Arrowhead Chocolates, Joseph

Coffee and chocolate-- need I say more??  Enjoy coffee drinks and handcrafted chocolates while gazing at the amazing Wallowa mountains.  Doesn't get any better than that.
